Chris and I got married at ages 18 and 20 years old. December 26, 1998
He was in the Army and we moved to Fort Benning, GA right after our wedding. He was not able to get off work for us to get a honeymoon. After we were only married 4 months he was called to go to Kuwait for 4 months. We said our goodbyes and it was hard to watch him go....
I did not want to stay there in the apartment alone so I loaded his Camaro IROC Z with all my clothes and locked the door and went back to live with my parents in NC and just mailed a rent check.
Then when he got back from Kuwait I went back down to our apartment and he got moved to a Drill Sergeant Unit in Clemson, SC so we moved to Northeast GA to be closer to my family.
I got a job at State Farms Regional Office and he was working with a Tree Service my uncle owns. Then he got hired with a company that made steering gears for cars. After a huge layoff he was able to get a job at Wrigleys Gum Factory.
I quit my job to stay home with the boys and I have been homeschooling them and all the household things while he has been the sole bread winner and provider all these years. I just recently started work from home and have finally been able to contribute to our finances.
We are independent Baptists and we believe the King James Bible is the only true Word of God.
